This month at work we’ve had some specialty days organized by our company’s social committee. There were lots that made sense – like our company mocha bar (never turn down free coffee) and the ugly holiday sweater day. I even understood the crazy holiday socks day. But today was scarf day. Which I participated in because apparently I’m a follower, but I still don’t understand. Are scarves festive? Are scarves even necessary when it’s 60 degrees out in Atlanta? Some one please shed some insight for me.
Despite my general confusion about the purpose of scarf day – I still had fun dressing up for it! The skirt is a nice thicker wool material, which is great as these temperatures start to creep down. I couldn’t resist pairing my new sneakers with this girly outfit to make it more comfortable. This whole athleisure trend is an A+ in my book.
Sound off: what’s the weirdest office tradition you have?
