So if you can believe it, I’ve been at this blogging thing for one whole week. I’m actually really enjoying picking out my outfits – although I can already tell the no shopping part will be tough. At least it probably won’t be as hard as dragging L out of bed to grab these morning pictures.
Today was particularly tough because a) it was still darkish out and b) our rescue pup Stormy strategically put his little head on L while cuddling in bed. It’s funny because two year ago, L didn’t even want a dog. So I did the responsible and rational thing and went out and got a dog. I was living in Boston at the time and found a puppy who was a doberman, black lab mix in South Carolina. I called in sick and started driving. And that’s how Stormy joined our little family. Anyone out these whose significant other won’t let you get a pet, just come home with one. Those puppy eyes will do all the talking. Just don’t tell them I had anything to do with it.
Anyways, for my outfit I matched some of my closet veterans, like this striped ruffle shirt and the red belt, with the new-kids-on-the-block, aka the shoes and earrings. I’m really going to miss it when I can’t wear jeans to work anymore.
