I’m still recovering from a crazy past few days! This morning, a big group of us headed out for breakfast. Unfortunately, we are probably the toughest group to find a place to eat! We have vegans, vegetarians, and crazy allergies – so it took a while! After breakfast, we hit the road so we could stop by L’s parents on the way home.
Before we started driving, I did take a super quick nap with my friend’s 8 week old puppy! Now, I have puppy fever something fierce. L is staying strong that we don’t need another puppy, but I hope I’m starting to wear him down!
Today it was freezing – I don’t know what’s up with me and being a terrible packer lately. From here on out, I need to start checking out the weather beforehand! I did end up kidnapping L’s sweatshirt for most of the day!
Sound off: any crazy allergies?

I’m pleasantly surprised at how ‘not’ sore I am, but I’m totally going to take this week off! Today at the office, I had a couple of meetings – one with a new agency I’m hoping to bring on-board! It’s always so much fun to get new ideas into the mix!
After work, I headed out to a cute new wine and tapas bar with LB and one of my new friends in our development. (And if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know how desperate I was to make friends in our development!). Anyways, it was great to relax with wine and good conversation!
My boss is notorious for her all-black outfits, so today I followed suit! Plus all black on a Monday – just feels fitting.

As many of you know, L and I have been making a little extra money for the wedding from dog watching on the weekends! This weekend, we watching a cute little Austrian Shepard mix who, to be honest, reminded us why we do not need a puppy right now. This pup has endless energy – even Stormy can’t keep up! Tonight we’re going to have a mellow night watching the pups and binging The Voice. Not going to lie, I’m still recovering from our ‘wild’ night on Wednesday. When did I get so old?
Today I wore on of my favorite shirts. This is one of the shirts that makes me a little bit excited for this challenge to be over – I can’t wait to start wearing it more often!

These are the days that I appreciate our cute little deck. There’s just barely enough space for a couple of friends and our pup Stormy. Today we spent the morning hanging outside on the patio (interrupted by some football games and replacing a few outlet covers). How is it that every single Sunday it feels like we should still be stuck on Friday? Something about these forty-eight hours just don’t align with normal time speed/logic. I want a do-over.
And now that we’re done with my ramblings – let’s move onto this outfit! This sweatshirt is from Black Dog – which recently has become somewhat of a ‘hip’ place. I’m going to sound old and pretentious, but I remember back in the day where you had to go to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket to even get one of these sweatshirts. Now you can grab one at a Bruins game in Boston. My baby sister got me this sweatshirt for my birthday and I absolutely love it. I paired it with these comfortable black shorts and my favorite go-to sneakers!
