Day 98: Vacation Trip Dreaming

Half-way through August – this is crazy Although, I’m not going to complain too much if this week flies by because I have some great upcoming plans. Next week my mom’s coming to Atlanta (finally after Spirit Airlines cancelled her flight last time).  Then next weekend, I’m heading back up to Ithaca to see one of my best friends (and future bridesmaid) graduate from Ithaca with her doctorate in physical therapy (I’m friends with a doctor – I’m getting old). Then in September, we’re going to Disney with L’s family.

So now I just need to make it through this week at work. I’m still sunburnt from yesterday and happy so it’s all good.

Onto my outfit details! This shirt I actually bought from Marshalls on the way to L’s company Christmas party because I needed a black long sleeve shirt, but it’s quickly turned into one of my favorite shirts because it’s so comfortable. The necklace is from Rocksbox, which is one of my favorite subscription companies. I’ve actually been a member for over two years! If you want to check it out, you can do so here. Please use my referral code “RACHAELBFF67” and I will love you forever.

Any fall trips planned?

Day 32: Oh Mother…

You know the joke about moms who call their kid the wrong name? Yeah, my mom can top that. We grew up on a farm with fifteen horses – which apparently is a lot of names to remember. Not only was I called my sister’s name regularly (in her defense we sound the same on the phone), I was also called by the horses’ names just as frequently. I’m surprised I didn’t have an identity issue as a kid.
