Day 4: Friday Night Plans

Okay so this is how I know I’m starting to be an adult: It’s a Friday night and I’m about to stay in and do laundry. And I’m excited about it. I’m officially old and boring. If this doesn’t qualify me for the senior citizen discount at the movies (matinée of course), I don’t know what will.

Anyways this outfit was chosen because these pants feel like butter but look nice enough to get away with at the office. Get ready to see these shoes a lot over the next year.

Anyone else have fun weekend plans that don’t involve a swifter and some Downy?

Day 2: Jeans Month!

Yes I work in corporate America. Yes I’m wearing jeans. Last week we received the best email you can get from HR – May is jeans month! It’s made getting dressed a little easier (and comfortable) this week. For this outfit here, I started with my earrings and worked my way down. I love building outfits from one piece because it seems so much more manageable for me. How do you usually build outfits? I hope there’s someone else out there who leaves a pile of the “not-quite-right” clothes in the morning!
