When I was little, my mom let us take one ‘mental health day’ a year – so we didn’t even have to fake being sick. I know I’m a pseudo-adult now, but today I needed a mental health day. After taking over our company’s digital and social media marketing strategy (in addition to direct marketing tactics), I’m feeling overworked and unbelievably tired. Today I spent the day cleaning the house and catching up on my TV shows. It was exactly what I needed.
Since I legit didn’t leave the house once, I stayed in yoga pants and slippers all day. This shirt was something Levi bought me back when we went to DisneyWorld and it is deceptively comfortable.
Sound off: if you took a random day off of work, what would you do?

I mentioned yesterday that I got to work with the AMAZING Chia from Atlanta who’s trying to build her portfolio. You have to check her out on instagram at @kissinlights and if you’re looking for an ATL-based photographer, let me know!
Anyways today I actually wore the outfit we took pictures of yesterday. It was perfect for lounging around the house and heading to the movies at night for a date night with L! We ended up seeing Passengers per L’s request. Originally I thought the premise of the movie looked stupid but it was actually pretty good. Super cliche but perfect for a date night!
Today was a perfect mix of doing nothing and actually getting outside so I can’t complain! Plus I ran a 5k this morning (for a somewhat decent time) so I totally deserved that extra butter on my popcorn today.
Sound off: so what did you do with your day off?
