A tiny part of my hoped that work would be cancelled today – but all the ice has already melted and there’s nothing white left on Atlanta’s roads. Since I’m sure everyone else is getting sick and tired of hearing me talk about the weather, let’s move on.
Anyways, today was just what we call in my line of work BAU, or business as usual. Actually funny story, when I first started working, everyone kept saying “let’s just run with BAU” and “the BAU is fine.” Eventually through context clues I figured out they weren’t referencing Criminal Minds‘ behavioral analysis unit, but it still took me about four months to find out what BAU means!
These pants I bought over a year ago, but they were about two inches too long for me (even with heels!). A month ago I finally brought them to the tailors and I’m so glad I did. It’s like having a new pair of pants! I matched it with this wishbone necklace my mom got me for Christmas and kept the rest of the outfit super simple.
